On behalf of the Rockton Strong board, we want to sincerely thank you for your support over the past few years. Although the outcome is not what we had hoped for, we firmly believe this was a fight worth pursuing. After much consideration, we have made the difficult decision to dissolve Rockton Strong. Unfortunately, we have exhausted all possible avenues to challenge or overturn this ruling, and we feel there are no further steps that would be effective in continuing our mission.

We wanted to provide transparency on how the funds we’ve raised have been allocated throughout this process. While there are still a few outstanding expenses to settle (such as the PO box, website, etc.), we aim to complete everything by December 1, 2024. At that time, any remaining funds will be donated to local non-profits in compliance with regulations governing the dissolution of a non-profit.

Once again, we are deeply grateful for the way this community rallied together on such an important issue. The outpouring of support has been truly heartwarming and a testament to the strength of our town.
